Hey all...
Well as some of you well know... ive got a custom painted rusty arosa, and also a ratrod im stuck deep into building.... But as the arosa is too small, and currently up for sale, it was time to buy its replacement....
A 2006 VW caddy van
The van is being painted... However im unsure how just yet... Im contemplating using either my original rusty paint, or a colored version (baby blue with a cream roof - all rusty of course).....
I am currently in the process of repairing all the rough parts thanks to the previous owner and his bodging little hands.... The front bumper, slam panel and headlights are scrap.... so im replacing it all, however this time with a nicer toruan front bumper, black touran headlights and a brand spank slam panel...
Ive got to await delivery of my replacement drivers door, and swap all the bits over from my existing one (as the door hinge is faulty, and subsequently welded onto the door itself lol).... I would have removed it and ground it all back, however its damaged on the door skin and starting to rust (which isnt cool unless its paint haha), so that ones going to the scrap man!
The only other panel that needs replacing is the rear bumper... Again, this has been taken care of by a typical builder!! So gouges out of the plastic and a general mess!!
Other than the a full service (belts etc) & paint, im aiming to fit a set of audi TT seats, audio system, coilovers (big drop) and then hopefully some 18x9.5j wheels for some nice poke!!
All this is taking place over the next few weeks as im desperate to get it in the booth painted ready for UD.....
